This website is run by Merriment Labs, an independent app studio run by Jesse Johnston (“we”, “us”).
The short version
This website has no analytics, no advertising, no third-party trackers, and sets no cookies. Fonts and images are served from this site, not from third-party services.
If you send a message through the contact form, we receive what you write so we can reply.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information about each request, such as your IP address, browser type, and the page requested, in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Cloudflare may keep this in standard logs and show us aggregate traffic totals. We don’t add analytics of our own and don’t use this information to identify visitors. Cloudflare’s handling is described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
The contact form
When you use the contact form, you send us:
- your name, as you choose to give it,
- your email address, so we can reply,
- which app your message is about, and
- your message.
The form is processed by a small function running on Cloudflare, which forwards your message to the studio’s email inbox. We use it only to read and answer your message, and to fix whatever you reported. We don’t add you to a mailing list, and we don’t sell or share your message. We keep messages as long as needed to help you and delete them on request.
To keep spam out, the contact page uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a real person is sending the form. Turnstile loads only on the contact page and processes some information about your browser and device for that check, as described in Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy addendum.
What this site does not do
- No cookies set by this site.
- No analytics or session recording.
- No advertising or ad networks.
- No social media widgets or embedded third-party content.
- No fonts or scripts loaded from third-party servers, except Turnstile on the contact page.
Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what we hold from your messages, to correct it, or to delete it. Send the request through the contact form. We will answer within 30 days.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us a message, let us know and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If this site starts handling information differently, this page will be updated first, with a new date at the top.
