Merriment Labs is run by Jesse Johnston, a product manager who builds apps. He designs and builds each one, and he reads every message that comes in through this site.

The apps start from small, real annoyances. A kitchen timer that was too easy to miss. A shelf of great coffees with nothing written down about any of them. Each app tries to fix one of those properly and then stop, rather than grow into something you have to manage.

“Merriment” is the point. Useful things can still be delightful, and a well-made tool should leave you in a slightly better mood than it found you.
